Portfolio of Works
OIL PAINTINGS
If you love the juiciness and vibrancy of oil paint, this collection is for you. Enjoy and savor the thick brush strokes and bold color of my flowers, still lifes, and landscapes. Large oil paintings make a dramatic statement in your home, while small oils are little gems to savor, individually or in a collection.
WATER MEDIA PAINTINGS
If you love light, bright, and airy, you'll enjoy this collection. Water color has a mind of its own! Water flows and pigment follows leaving in its wake unique and distinctive marks -- sometimes eccentric, sometimes quirky, always beautiful. I generally leave a lot of white space in my water media paintings. The color of the pigments excite, while the empty white space calms. The best of both worlds!
MONSTERA LEAF COLLECTION
A colorful and dynamic collection of Monstera leaves created through the relief printing process utilizing oil-based inks.
RELIEF PRINTS
If you love the interplay of color and pattern, jump in and take a peek at this collection. Contemporary and exciting, these relief prints will transform any space in your home and life with their colorful and bold presence. A selection of my relief prints are available in my online Society6 shop.
DIGITALLY PAINTED PHOTOGRAPHS
This collection is of photographs I had the joy to take over the past three decades that I've painted digitally. Yes, digitally! I've had fun playing with color, texture, and background with these images. To say these images are fun is an understatement. They are available through my katie-stearns.pixils.com website. Click through and you will see that these images are available not only as fine art prints, but on many other products -- apparel, household items, art cards, notebooks -- to name a few!
