Had a beautiful bouquet of hydrangeas sitting on my kitchen island.  Leftovers from New Year's Eve, they still looked quite luscious.  I couldn't resist plucking one stem from the bouquet, clipping it down, and placing it in a smaller vase.  Once in the studio, I put a light on it and got to work.  The result:  "Single Stem."  Just love the way it came out.  Also love the warm red background.
