Another Painting in my "One-Woman Show" at the Mayo Clinic Hospital
This is another painting that's in my upcoming one-woman show at Mayo Clinic Hospital in north Scottsdale.
It's called "Gathering Sunshine." My reference material is a photo I took while visiting Sand Hills Golf Course in Nebraska a couple of years ago. What a unique and beautiful place it is! The interplay of light and shadow is exquisite. The textural opposition of sand pathways and widespread prairie grasses create visual excitement. Clearly a painter's delight!
